IDentity Management Systems (IDMSs) have always been important artifacts of the modern ecosystem of communications, as digital identities allow users to identify themselves using credentials in order to access services on the internet. Despite the fact that this identity paradigm has been successful and used for a long time, it relies on centralized authorities as intermediaries between clients and service providers. Users' personal authentication information is monitored and stored in authorities' databases, increasing security threats due to the risk of leaks. The emergence of Blockchain technologies has enabled the concept of Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) to become feasible, allowing identity owners to control their personal information and its sharing policies. In this paper, we propose an SSI-based IDMS that integrates an authentication key rotation protocol and a revocation scheme to enhance security.

Abstract
In this paper, we propose an SSI-based IDMS that integrates an authentication key rotation protocol and a revocation scheme to enhance security.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
