In this appendix, we present the main regulatory texts currently in use. We would like to emphasise that the regulatory reference, for the reader who has no specific knowledge of the constraints to which the design of products in this type of industry is subject, is intended here to emphasise the importance of certain principles whose scope transcends the time span of the individual regulations which, of course, are subject to continuous updating.
