This paper presents an innovative initiative aimed at enhancing cognitive abilities, fostering social inclusion, and promoting labor inclusion for young students with disabilities. Through the collaborative efforts of the ASPOC association, bachelor, and master degree students from Politecnico di Milano, Lecco Campus, we integrate Mixed Reality (MR) technology via the Meta Quest 3 device with hands-on training and assembly procedures using the Infento Kit. This holistic approach not only empowers young individuals with disabilities but also provides valuable experiential learning opportunities for university volunteers. The paper discusses the development of training and assembly procedures, the role of volunteer engagement, and the potential impact on cognitive, social, and vocational outcomes.

Abstract
This paper presents an innovative initiative aimed at enhancing cognitive abilities, fostering social inclusion, and promoting labor inclusion for young students with disabilities. Through the collaborative efforts of the ASPOC association, bachelor, and master degree students from Politecnico di Milano, Lecco Campus, we integrate Mixed Reality (MR) technology via the Meta Quest 3 device with hands-on training and assembly procedures using the Infento Kit. This holistic approach not only empowers young individuals with disabilities but also provides valuable experiential learning opportunities for university volunteers. The paper discusses the development of training and assembly procedures, the role of volunteer engagement, and the potential impact on cognitive, social, and vocational outcomes.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
