The Fort Bard, with its “Cantine”, the long gallery and the six rooms, hosts an exhibition conceived to introduce the public to the heritage preserved in the Historical Archive of the Gianfranco Ferré Research Center of the Politecnico di Milano. An unprecedented project dedicated to one of the greatest interpreters of Italian fashion eighty years after his birth. The focal point of the storytelling is the photographic section of the archive, with more than 90 original works never exhibited before. The images on display are by Gian Paolo Barbieri, Guy Bourdin, Michel Comte, Patrick Demarchelier, Peter Lindbergh, Steven Meisel, Bettina Rheims and Herb Ritts. Eight masters of fashion photography, who worked with Ferré on iconic campaigns that illustrated his collections from the late 1970s to the early 2000s.
