Abstract
The lapse between Can our cities survive? and The Hearth of the City is reconsidered in the light of reconstruction plans in Italy, in which the redesign of the central places of towns is a recurring element, from its modest to most ambitious declinations. They sound like representative clues to the perspective of “continuity” that after World War II brings together the revaluation of the relational richness of the historical city with the search for the spatial quality of the Modern.File in questo prodotto:
