Strategic Design can play a fundamental role in supporting them through methods and tools that helps firstly to conduct an as-is analysis of the market, the competitors, and the actual strategy of the company; then to define a new strategy that enables the implementation of a new vision and a new offering, leading to a competitive advantage.
