This paper reports reconnaissance explorations of geothermal favourability in four regions in Kerman Province, Iran. The reconnaissance explorations began when earlier large-scale studies showed Kerman Province to be one of the promising geothermal zones in the country. Therefore, wide-scale explorations of geothermal favorability is in progress in different regions using a GIS-based multi criteria decision analysis method. Different geological, geophysical, and remote sensing data were integrated using Fuzzy logic and weighted sum method (WSM) to detect the most promising zones in Meyduk, Sarcheshmeh, Sarduiyeh, and Sirch-Golbaf regions. The main parameters considered as geothermal evidence include hot springs, faults, volcanic rocks, and shallow Curie depths. The findings were promising and detailed future investigations are suggested to confirm the geothermal reservoirs.

Abstract
The findings were promising and detailed future investigations are suggested to confirm the geothermal reservoirs.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
