Abstract

Urban public spaces have often suffered the “stress” of adaptation to changes. Not only can pandem- ic consequences be investigated, but also studies on micro-temporalities changes – due to vacation seasons, commuting issues, and disasters’ consequences – give relevance to transferable knowledge about adaptive design solutions. The reflection aims to compare those issues in the complex relation- ship between cities and inner peripheries, which share similar issues at different scales.
