Changes in the ICGG’s Conference Topics: a Pathway Through Geometry and Graphics Over Time, from Descriptive Geometry to Artificial Intelligence

Conferences reflect advancements in research and education, as well as in professions, especially those having a worldwide audience. This is the case of our series of Conferences, nowadays ICGGs, The International Conferences on Geometry and Graphics, whose aim from the beginning focused on fueling investigations addressed to envisioning future items in our field of studies, and the potentiality of the applications in the many related sectors. This is largely confirmed by the changes in the Conference Topics occurring over time, from 1978 onwards, in order to stay in line with the times. In my last year in office as the President of ISGG, the International Society for Geometry and Graphics, my wish is that ICGGs maintains this positive trend for a long time to come.
