Being the chronology of this War Memorial in Fondotoce recently published it is easier focusing on contours and adaptations. The paper aims: on one hand, to underline the references of a cultured and refined designer not extraneous to the theme of war memorials and funerary architecture since the early post-war period; on the other, to evaluate, also in the light of the sculptures and architectures that have arrived, if the symbolic forms and compositions proposed by him lend themselves to transmitting lasting meanings and already bear within themselves the forms of change.
