A methodology on quali-quantitative analysis of Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) in working spaces has been developed by a multidisciplinary team. In particular, the innovation of the research work is to develop a questionnaire on users’ perception and well-being, based on a scoping re-view and the support of low-cost sensors for IAQ monitoring air contaminants (CO2, T, RH, tVOC, etc.). This analysis has been conducted in10 department offices of Politecnico di Milano (Italy), in which low-cost sensors IAQ have been recently installed. The research process has been divided into: • starting from the definition of the research question, it was conducted a scoping review on research works related to qualitative surveys on IAQ; • referring to the outcomes of the scoping review, the team gives rise to a questionnaire to be filled in by users, to be analysed with the quali/quantitative data given by sensors; • application of the methodology on working spaces, with different features, that allowed to study the differences among the seasons; • data analysis of the qualitative and quantitative data and data correlation. The research work allows to investigate the feasibility of the methodology and to verify the efficacy of low-cost devices for the well-being of users, as well as the users’ training.

Abstract
The research work allows to investigate the feasibility of the methodology and to verify the efficacy of low-cost devices for the well-being of users, as well as the users’ training.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
