Abstract
The use of UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) or drones is becoming popular in museums and archaeological sites. Despite the potential use of drones for preserving and valuing cultural heritage, we know little on the potentialities, types of usage and implications of drones for museum management. Relying on a survey and a multiple case study, this paper investigates and analyses the current use of drones by Italian museums, offering a typology of such uses as well as discussing organizational implications connected with their adoption.File in questo prodotto:
