Analytical methods for calculating the performances of induction heaters with permanent magnets are computationally fast and very flexible, but require a mathematical model of the magnets and their geometry, which can be difficult for complex configurations. In this article, it is described an analytical method that is based only on the static field produced by the magnets, which can be calculated with simple numerical software and does not require such an analytical modeling. This method can also be applied to heaters already built and even of unknown internal structures, since it requires only the measurement of the magnetic field.
