The use of slides presentations is becoming increasingly popular in the world of education. Continued advances in technology have made it easy for teachers to disseminate their lecture slides to be viewed from students anywhere. The content presented in the slides is oftentimes consumed by students through copies of the presentation, but in this way the teacher has no way of knowing how his/her content is being consumed. In this paper we describe Evoli, a tool that can provide the teacher with a set of analytics regarding how students consume the slides s/he provides them with. We report data on the evaluation of the usability of the tool (by means of an SUS questionnaire) and on the perceived usefulness of the platform from the students’ point of view. Data show how students find that a system allowing them to transmit their feedback to the teachers is perceived as highly useful.
