In this paper, we investigate a non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA)-based coordinated direct and relay transmission (CDRT) system under Rayleigh fading with imperfect successive interference cancellation (ipSIC). In the underlying system, the relay node is equipped with wireless caching and energy harvesting (EH) capabilities in an effort to increase its serving time and thus, to facilitate sustainable communications in future wireless systems. Under this setup, the system performance is evaluated in terms of the outage probability (OP) for the both the primary and secondary networks, throughput and energy efficiency (EE). Monte Carlo simulations are provided to assess the accuracy of the proposed mathematical framework. Moreover, the obtained results demonstrate the superiority of the proposed scheme over its cache-free counterpart.

Abstract
Moreover, the obtained results demonstrate the superiority of the proposed scheme over its cache-free counterpart.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
