The object of the research, traceable in the specific context of the City of Milan and its suburbs, aims to propose innovative design strategies for the re-actualization of a particular typology, that of the archive, through the elaboration of a series of projects for the new Archival Center of the Municipality of Milan intended as a place capable of structuring the knowledge and memory of the city, equipped with heterotopic spaces characterized by an articulated program.
