The validation of a new biodegradable medical device requires the evaluation of its degradative profile. In vitro degradation tests are a useful tool to do so, but their protocol needs adequate justification. We propose a method to evaluate the enzymatic degradation kinetics of an enzyme mixture designed to degrade a semi-degradable vascular graft in quasi-physiological conditions.

Abstract
The validation of a new biodegradable medical device requires the evaluation of its degradative profile. In vitro degradation tests are a useful tool to do so, but their protocol needs adequate justification. We propose a method to evaluate the enzymatic degradation kinetics of an enzyme mixture designed to degrade a semi-degradable vascular graft in quasi-physiological conditions.File in questo prodotto:
