In recent years, the increasingly widespread use of medical equipment has revolutionized the way in which clinical practice is performed and made their management increasingly complex. The Clinical Engineering of the Spedali Civili Hospital in Brescia decided to develop a medical equipment management software with the aim of digitalize and optimize its own processes. The objective of the present study is to share the methodology used for the implementation of a tailor-made software for medical equipment management throughout the entire device's life cycle.
