In Italy, Law 112/16 defines measures aimed at deinstitutionalisation to promote the well- being, social inclusion and autonomy of people with disabilities. It promotes pathways to autonomy in view of the lack of family support in the so-called “Dopo di Noi” through a progressive taking charge of the person during the lifetime of the parents in the so-called “durante Noi”. A gradual path of accompaniment that finds concreteness in the realisation of “Progetto di Vita” (PdV) individualised for each person. The law aims to build a social infrastructure, as a physical and service infrastructure, to support the realisation of PdV starting with the housing dimension through the implementation of a housing welfare project. The paper reports a synthesis of the design process for the realisation of such an infrastructure to reflect on how methods and tools of ergonomics could support the design process of housing projects for the realisation of PdV. Specifically, from the outcomes of mapping and analysis of best practices of housing welfare implemented by the law, principles of ergonomics are identified that could facilitate the replicability and scalability of best practices.

Abstract
Specifically, from the outcomes of mapping and analysis of best practices of housing welfare implemented by the law, principles of ergonomics are identified that could facilitate the replicability and scalability of best practices.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
