The intensive field surveys and stratigraphic excavations carried out at Dime/Soknopaiou Nesos during the last 13 years by the Soknopaiou Nesos Project team (University of Salento, Lecce) have brought to light a considerable quantity of pottery and objects dated to the Hellenistic and Roman periods, but also clusters of Late Roman/Byzantine pottery. The latter, which came exclusively from within the area of the temenos, is represented by assemblages dating between the 4th and the 7th centuries AD.

Abstract
