A painting representing a Grotesque Head and Bust of a Woman turn left was first attributed by Roberto Longhi in 1958 to Giovan Paolo Lomazzo but later this attribution was questioned, whitout having seen the original Given its was exhibited in Venice in 2023, and that the Longhi's letter was discovered and published here for the first time, the attribution is now confirmed.
