“La lettura” del luogo: tra identità e globalizzazione - “Reading” a place: between identity and globalization

From a methodological point of view, there is no Heritage independent from a cultural and territorial context. This contribution aims to reflect on the notion of local identity and therefore of material and intangible heritage connected to it, in the light of the processes of globalization underway. With reference to Arijun Appadurai, the relationship between “forms of circulation” and “circulation of forms” (Appadurai, 2007) calls into play the “work of imagination” between aspects of identity and global fruition.
