The linear economy model within the fashion industry has demonstrated a general trend toward phenomena of overproduction and consumerism that fuel the "logic of waste" and require a change in operating models on the part of the designer. The article presents the master's thesis project Left(L)overs that explores the theme of take care as a creative, necessary, thrifty and radical act and seeks to outline different types of design intervention related to the practice of the fashion designer, identifying three possible trajectories of design experimentation.
