Abstract
The paper retraces comparing some models and experiences of "Hub" emerged as promising innovative functional nodes for urban resilience and sustainability strengthening. REsilienceLAB launched a co-production path to explore the "ingredients" of the Resilience-HUB to guarantee the resilience of local community enhancement, defining a first set of characteristics: “places” acting on the three dimensions of resilience (transformative, adaptive, and recovery), connecting local experimentation improving public urban spaces to urban/regional vision (multiscalar) supporting alliances among policies, projects, and practices rooted in different approaches and urgencies. Boosting the creative diversity of the ecosystem, social and organizational components. The outlined principles were compared and integrated with the common components of developed Resilience-HUB models and experiences (UDRR, UN-HABITAT…) and other Hubs (such as food or community hubs). The paper stimulates a debate about the "Resilience HUB" and the need to activate nodes of the public city supporting creative diversity enhancement.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
