Mantova Cattedra UNESCO. Progetti e ricerche

he Mantova unEScO chair in "architectural Preservation and Planning in World Heritage cities", established in the Mantova campus of the Politecnico di Milano since 2012, works on the different scales and to- pics concerning heritage, by developing a wide range of cultural activities. One of the most important is ManTOVarcHiTETTura, the festival that ye- arly invites renowned international architects committed on this topic. This eight edition has focused on the World Heritage Site and territory between Sabbioneta and Mantua, with a series of lectures, exhibitions and project workshops. among the activities promoted by the Mantova unEScO chair, there are also researches and projects carried out directly by its research groups on the theme of preservation and valorization of World Heritage cities. These works have recently been gathered in a publication of the series "architectural design and History" (Franco angeli ed.).
