Abstract

In the last twenty years, from the specific topic of Housing the attention has moved to the Living Environment (in Italian Abitare, in French Habiter), that concerns the city, public space, and participation in social life. Living settlements are now required to be sustainable and multi-functional, and to provide freely accessible spaces for public use. The focus on environmental and social sustainability is very important today. Now we have new housing requirements, some of them as a consequence of the pandemic.
