Mies’ works have exerted their influence thanks to a completeness which does not belong merely to the world of forms but even sooner to that of ideas. In his works, as with the great works of ancient architecture, the idea is identified with the building and in this way, finds a representation, is fixed in a figure and re-proposes itself over time. In the great architectures, we can recognize the trace of the theoretical principle which determined them.

Abstract
Mies’ works have exerted their influence thanks to a completeness which does not belong merely to the world of forms but even sooner to that of ideas. In his works, as with the great works of ancient architecture, the idea is identified with the building and in this way, finds a representation, is fixed in a figure and re-proposes itself over time. In the great architectures, we can recognize the trace of the theoretical principle which determined them.File in questo prodotto:
