Heritage without frontiers is a collection of papers aims to summarize the themes developed inside the homonymous workshop, Heritage Without Frontiers, reaching its fifth edition this academic year, 2022/2023. The workshop is strictly relied to the Erasmus Student Mobility Action, which is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year. This project deals with the problems connected to conservation and protection of Cultural Heritage, with particular emphasis to Eastern European and South East Asian countries. The aim is to engage with the heritage of these Countries, and especially with colleagues and students working there, to broaden the horizon of understanding, and to understand how to establish an intercultural dialogue with the aim of protecting, preserving and enhancing the historical, artistic and cultural heritage. The publication, furthermore, is also placed within another important event this year, being the 50th anniversary of the UNESCO World Heritage Convention chart of 1972.
