Within the dynamics and processes of urban and social regeneration in the contemporary city, the relationship between the built environment and health is highly relevant and debated. For these reasons, the structures, infrastructures, and public spaces combining social inclusion, health promotion, education, and physical activity acquire a renewed relevance in the contemporary agenda for urban regeneration. In this framework, the “proximity” structures for grassroots sport acquire particular importance, together with the public and urban spaces dedicated to them, by their location and reachability within urban contexts, as well as their “infrastructural” character that innervates cities and neighborhoods. Such services combine in a very coherent way with the emerging needs of renewed places of identity, multi-ethnic and multi-generational integration within urban fabrics, as well as renovated places to encourage practices for personal, and collective, well-being and health. The present contribution reflects on these topics and proposes the definition of methods and tools to enhance, innovate and make the assets of the sports structures more efficient in a systemic, multi-generational, inclusive, and health education.

Abstract
The present contribution reflects on these topics and proposes the definition of methods and tools to enhance, innovate and make the assets of the sports structures more efficient in a systemic, multi-generational, inclusive, and health education.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
