We would like to ask ourselves whether it is now possible to design circadian lighting in the residential area thanks to new technologies. This design hypothesis could increase the value of rooms, also in terms of healthiness, and should not be considered an unnecessary design complication, but neither can it be drastically simplified. It requires the specific skills of professionals whose design method begins with a precise, time-based analysis of the human activities that are expected to take place in the interior spaces. It is wrong to say that a lighting product is circadian, whereas it is more correct to say that it can have features to create a lighting design for the well-being of people in residential environments. A lighting product lays the foundation for having the requirements for biodynamic circadian lighting, but this is not enough; a project is needed
