Globalization has created a new normal that affects all aspects of our daily lives. New realities and shifts in the job market have fundamentally changed our higher education system and landscape. There is now a paradigm shift in fashion education, as the traditional method developed in the past is not equipped to deal with contemporary issues. Universities are requested to rethink their longstanding philosophies and methods toward the emerging paradigm. In this paper, the researcher intends to explore the boundaries between the dominant and emerging paradigm of fashion design education, investigating new possibilities and practical strategies to internationalize the fashion design curriculum.
