The image of Milan in the twentieth century owes a large debt to a widespread modern heritage of great quality. It is not only the recognized cornerstones of the twentieth century - the works of Giovanni Muzio, Gio Ponti, Emilio Lancia - or Lombard rationalism between the two wars - the buildings of Pagano, Terragni, Lingeri, etc. - to mark the collective imagination, but also the many post-World War II experiments, both in iconic and disruptive buildings, such as Luigi Moretti's Corso Italia building, Bbpr's Torre Velasca, the Pirelli skyscraper and Piero Bottoni's Palazzo INA , both in the proliferation, especially between the sixties and seventies, of refined and innovative condominiums and tertiary buildings; the works of the so-called “cultured professionalism” of Caccia Dominioni, Magistretti, Asnago and Vender, Minoletti. Starting from the case of the INA Building in Corso Sempione, the contribution questions the appropriateness and methods of protecting this heritage, currently exposed to the risk of technical adaptation and / or energy efficiency interventions that are not attentive, if not indifferent, to architectural quality and the urban role of individual factories; interventions that the Ecobonus encourages and accelerates.

Abstract
Starting from the case of the INA Building in Corso Sempione, the contribution questions the appropriateness and methods of protecting this heritage, currently exposed to the risk of technical adaptation and / or energy efficiency interventions that are not attentive, if not indifferent, to architectural quality and the urban role of individual factories; interventions that the Ecobonus encourages and accelerates.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
