This paper presents an academical experience in design for sustainability through a multidisciplinary educational approach. A three-level formula has been adopted: design for a sustainable awarenessraising, through sustainable materials and technologies into a sustainable product system (strategicsystemic design). To combine these three levels of product sustainability education, the brief selected as the core of the design activity has been to design products of edutainment (educational and entertaining) for children aged 3-10 years. Children will nurture root principles of sustainability by active or passive learning while having fun, playing with a technically and systematically sustainable product. The results have been 60 products, that, following different Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), act to grow sparks of sustainability in young generations. The students assumed holistic and critical sustainable thinking, as well as contents, methods, and tools for design for sustainability.

Abstract
The students assumed holistic and critical sustainable thinking, as well as contents, methods, and tools for design for sustainability.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
