Verso nuove intelligenze dello spazio pubblico. Il caso Zari 2.0 a Bovisio Masciago

In Bovisio Masciago, Brianza, one of the most densely urbanized territories of Italy the Municipality is today developing the requalification of the former Zari factories. The new system of Public spaces "Zari 2.0" is conceived as a green (landscape/nature) and blue (water) infrastructure of about 19,000 sqm defined by three main choices: the redefinition of the relationship with chosen pre-existences of industrial archaeology; the rethinking of the sector's accessibility system aiming both at the containment of the use of the automobile and at the continuity of public space; the management of meteoric water and urban drainage that can be considered at the same time as a constraint - defined by the new regional regulation on the observance of the principle of hydraulic and hydrological invariance - and as a resource trough which public spaces can be conceived as more able to adapt to climate change and to structure more inclusive spaces, the latter characterized by the integration of different functions and utilities.
