Abstract

Microfluidic devices are gaining increasing attention due to their extraordinary properties. Since their introduction to biology, the field has been revolutionized because of the miniaturization and integration of a range of devices that resulted in portability, reduction in time, costs, reagents, sample size and power consumption [1]. Comparing the same trends to chemistry, there are still many challenges, mainly concerning the compatibility of the currently widely used materials such as PDMS [2].
