Francesca Zanotto’s book Circular Architecture. A Design Ideology reflects on a circular model of production that aims to recover the value retained in waste, and to optimize resource utilization. Architecture becomes thus focused on its production and disposal cycles, and the designing process counts more than the final products. The book is structured in three parts. While the first two set the frame reflecting on production/consumption processes through the notions of waste, resource scarcity, and recycle, the third one deals with the implications of the circular economy in the architectural field.

Abstract
Francesca Zanotto’s book Circular Architecture. A Design Ideology reflects on a circular model of production that aims to recover the value retained in waste, and to optimize resource utilization. Architecture becomes thus focused on its production and disposal cycles, and the designing process counts more than the final products. The book is structured in three parts. While the first two set the frame reflecting on production/consumption processes through the notions of waste, resource scarcity, and recycle, the third one deals with the implications of the circular economy in the architectural field.File in questo prodotto:
