The essay aims at identifying some paradigms of cultural experience which interpret the contemporary city as a place of experimentation and performance. These models are based on the dialogue between visual-performing arts and digital languages which find new ways of expression, enhancement, activation and interaction in urban spaces. In this way, new urban aesthetics are outlined focused on interactive explorations and digital interference able to modify our relationship with the city as well as the ways with which we behave and perceive urban spaces.

Abstract
