Entry Description Pinna was born by combining the sound-absorbing technology of Snowsound Fiber with the textile processing of luxury fashion giving rise to a rather surprising shape suggested by the structure of the pleating, which increases the acoustic performances due to the compression of the fibers. Innovation Point We add aesthetic value to technology combining research and beauty, crossing different fields of application, and creating a dialogue between distant productive knowledge, to enhance contamination and generate disruptive innovation. Caimi Brevetti is a design company that looks at innovation as a booster for new products and they are leaders in the world in acoustic research and patents as Snowsound Fiber. The idea to contaminate Caimi Brevetti with an industry specialized in pleating for luxury fashion brands produced innovation and an iconic product like Pinna.
