Big data analytics (BDA) has captured growing research interests in the supply chain domain, where supply chain management is often investigated as a broad topic. Limited research effort has addressed the link of BDA to the supply chain planning (SCP) processes. Through a Delphi study, this paper reveals insight from academicians and practitioners on i) matching BDA technology, big data sources and impact to punctual SCP processes; ii) managerial issues that affect the establishment of the link between BDA and SCP in terms of determinants for BDA adoption decisions in supply chains.

Abstract
Big data analytics (BDA) has captured growing research interests in the supply chain domain, where supply chain management is often investigated as a broad topic. Limited research effort has addressed the link of BDA to the supply chain planning (SCP) processes. Through a Delphi study, this paper reveals insight from academicians and practitioners on i) matching BDA technology, big data sources and impact to punctual SCP processes; ii) managerial issues that affect the establishment of the link between BDA and SCP in terms of determinants for BDA adoption decisions in supply chains.File in questo prodotto:
