Abstract

In vitro cell/tissue culture represents a widespread methodology for pathophysiology studies with good cost/benefit ratio. We have developed and are validating a novel system, that allows compartmentalized cultures and co-cultures, real time visualization of the culture growth, and recover/reuse of the biological material, based on conventional and low-cost rapid prototyping clean room-free technologies.
