This contribution aims at testing a parametric approach in the design process, oriented to a multi-scale hypothesis of transformation concerning Portovenere and its environment. Thanks to the mediation of the geometrical language, design objectives were translated into computational problems delivered to specifically created algorithms, whose solutions, while improving the final design, allowed also for the generation of a dynamic process able to propose strategies for other territories.

Abstract
This contribution aims at testing a parametric approach in the design process, oriented to a multi-scale hypothesis of transformation concerning Portovenere and its environment. Thanks to the mediation of the geometrical language, design objectives were translated into computational problems delivered to specifically created algorithms, whose solutions, while improving the final design, allowed also for the generation of a dynamic process able to propose strategies for other territories.File in questo prodotto:
