Abstract

We have recently experimented the enhancement of modeldriven development with the possibility of exploit models not only as part of design but also as part of the runtime. Through this enhancement the system model becomes a live object that evolves with the system itself and sends back to the designers powerful information that enables a continuous improvement of the system. This approach goes into the direction of offering a valid tool to support development and operation in a seamless way, i.e. to support DevOps concepts. In this short note we present the MODAClouds Toolkit which helps lowering existing barriers between development and operations teams and therefore smooths the way to DevOps practice.
