The article debates these issues, structuring them into three parts. The first one reflects on the urban regeneration processes of the contemporary city. The second part thinks about the construction of a frame and meaningful pieces of the regeneration processes, identifying relationships and performances rather than spatial configurations. The third part stresses the issues raised by using two real design approaches that experimented with the construction of frames and resilient pieces.
