The article illustrates and comments on the museographic project and the exhibition design of the Museum of Peoples and Cultures of the Pontifical Institute for Foreign Missions in Milan, that was inaugurated in 2019. The museum, which occupies 1,400 square meters of the basement of the PIME "Mother House", exhibits over 200 items from Asia, Oceania, Africa and Latin America, with an exhibition divided into thematic sections (Daily life, Ornaments, Animism, Rites and ceremonies, Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity in China and Japan, Fabrics, Chinese art, Taoism , Musical instruments), enriched by multimedia stations that offer the opportunity to explore some of the museum's contents in an interactive and emotional way.
