In this research, aimed to didactically demonstrate the effects of lighting and indoor surfaces reflectance on contrast perception, a 3D device in a box has been designed and built to isolate the observer from the effects of ambient light that can affect the results of the experiment. This device allows you to check the effects of the variations of light intensities distribution and surfaces reflectance isolated in two extreme situations. The difference, compared to imaging-based systems, is that with this apparatus you can evaluate the perceptual difference of two conditions at the same time as the real lighting changes with surfaces reflectance. This is done being able to observe 2 different chambers. The device is also portable and has been designed to be self-explanatory.

Abstract
The device is also portable and has been designed to be self-explanatory.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
