The paper deals with the work of Alessandro Minali (1888-1960), architect, who trained at the Polytechnic of Milan. It is part of a research aimed to recognize the catalog of his works currently limited to a few episodes, bordered on Milan, held only between the two wars and confused in teamwork. His drawings analysis is exactly the theme and it is oriented to assess his approach to the pre-existing, both to the architectural and the urban scale.
