Abstract
Gardella (1905-1999) has been at the centre of a dense network of interpretations, an extraordinarily abundant amount of critical literature from the 1930s to present day which includes important contributions from historians, scholars and architects. ese different views of Gardella’s work have fixed imperative points of view and keywords such as the relationship with the techniques of composition, with history, contexts, cities. there is a subtle but continuous link between Gardella’s great designs recognised by critics and his research on interior space. His work on interiors, in the broadest sense and at different scales, runs throughout his career and was more open to experimentation and less reported in the research. e questions of architecture faced in the city or in the landscape resurface in it, are transformed, or perhaps take shape for the first time; however, they make use of an experimental reciprocity.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
