Abstract
Fashion is recognised as one of the most unsustainable systems, being characterized by both a severe environ-mental impact and unfair working conditions. In this framework, the article describes a sustainable promising scenario for fashion based on a Sustainable Product-Service System (S.PSS), recognized as a model in which the producer/provider’s economic interest is to design and offer low environmentally affecting clothing solu-tions. This paper describes the scenario development process (part of the MSDS method): a) Strategic Analysis: desk research on ‘clothing care’ system’s environmental impact; definition of environmental design priorities; and S.PSS ‘clothing care’ best practices analysis; b) Scenario design: S.PSS ideas generation applied to cloth-ing care, promising S.PSS ideas clustering aiming at identifying the most effective polarity diagram, design and formulation of the scenario 4 promising visions.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
