This contribution presents a course on imagination held at Politecnico di Milano. The aim of the course was to make students reflect on the role of imagination in various contexts (especially scientific and moral) and to teach them how to strengthen it to better perform as whole engineers. The pilot initiative was highly valued by the students as an innovative and meaningful way to introduce the humanities into technical mindsets.
