A motorcycle (1) has a front part (1A) and a rear part (1B), the front part (1A) comprising handlebars (2) and a handlebar stem (3) with which there is associated an electronic damper (5) controlled by a control unit (10) controlling the action of the damper on the handlebars, provision being made for a device detecting the angle of rotation of the handlebars (2) and the velocity of rotation of the handlebar stem (3) within a handlebar head (3A) of the frame (90). The control unit (10) comprises a first block (10A) which receives data on the velocity of rotation of the handlebar stem (3) and which on the basis of such velocity determines the presence of oscillating or weave movement of the motorcycle (1) or a wobble movement of the handlebars (2), said first block (10A) of said control unit (10) being connected to a second block (10B) and a third block (10C) of such unit (10) which alternatively generate a control signal intended to damp the handlebar stem (5) on the basis of the determination made by the first block (10A) so that any weave and/or wobble movement is cancelled out.

Abstract
